ABA Resume
For many years, Micah Buchdahl has been a significant contributor to the American Bar Association, the largest voluntary professional association in the world, with nearly 400,000 members. The ABA provides law school accreditation, continuing legal education, information about the law, programs to assist lawyers and judges in their work, and initiatives to improve the legal system for the public. The organization stands out as an important representation of the legal profession. It is for this reason that Micah and HTMLawyers has continued to devote hundreds of hours each year to ABA activities.
Within the ABA, the Law Practice Management Section is the resource needed to successfully manage a law practice, providing information and resources in the core areas of marketing, management, technology and finance. It is the largest and preeminent provider of LPM resources in the profession. Micah is the only professional marketer and attorney ever to serve in the capacity as Chair of LPM.

ABA Law Firm Marketing Strategies Conference
In 2007, Micah Buchdahl created the ABA’s first stand-alone law marketing conference as a member of the Law Practice Management Section. He chaired the first and third biannual conferences (overseeing the second during his section chair year in LPM). The first conference took place in Washington, DC (2007); with subsequent conferences in Philadelphia (2009 and 2011). The fourth biannual conference is scheduled for spring 2014 in St. Louis, Missouri.
ABA New Partners & New In-House Counsel Conference
The Young Lawyers Division developed the ABA New Partners & New In-House Counsel Conference in 2011—an educational and networking session designed to address issues of new partners and new in-house counsel at their respective law firms and companies. Micah Buchdahl was asked to serve on the advisory board, planning board, and as a program speaker for each of the first two conferences. He spoke on issues pertaining to ethical considerations in business development.
